Kristie

Full transcription coming soon. The entire audio interview is available above.

Kristie is a film teacher at Leewall Elementary School in Baltimore, Maryland.

“Other students are currently doing online virtual learning, but due to my contract, I was actually hired as a contractor professor with the school, so I am currently not working because I am technically a freelancer, and it’s really hard to kind of teach film when it’s so hands on, so therefore I’m not really working because it’s not something I can really show online.”

Interview highlights:

“It’s just one of those things that we kind of have to adjust to, it is really weird and I do miss my kids and I know they probably miss going outside and being with their friends and stuff like that…once it all passes we can go back to normal is, if we can even..who knows? I don’t think we’re ever really going back to what the world was before, we’ll definitely have to make some adjustments, but we can at least try to get back to, you know, quote on quote, normal.”
